Alessia Mosca
Alessia Mosca (born 23 May 1975) is the Secretary General of Italy-ASEAN association. She is a former Italian politician who was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2014 to 2019 and a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies from 2008 to 2014. Early life and education Born in Monza, she holds a PhD in Political Science at the University of Florence. Alessia Mosca graduated in philosophy at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, completed the Master in Diplomacy at the Istituto per gli studi di politica internazionale and earned a master's degree in diplomacy at the Johns Hopkins University (American University based in Florence). She worked for the European Parliament and in Italy for Alenia Aeronautica. While a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies she signed the law that introduces in Italy gender quotas in the boards of listed companies. Sal Mosca
Salvatore Joseph Mosca (April 27, 1927 – July 28, 2007) was an American jazz pianist who was a student of Lennie Tristano. Mosca was born in Mount Vernon, New York, United States, to Italian Americans, Italian American parents. He worked in cool jazz and post-bop. After playing in the United States Army Band during World War II, he studied at the New York College of Music using funds provided by the G.I. Bill. He began working with Lee Konitz in 1949, and also worked with Warne Marsh. He spent much of his career teaching and was relatively inactive after 1992, but new CDs were released in 2004, 2005, and 2008. He died from emphysema in White Plains, New York, at the age of 80. Mario Francis Puzo (; ; October 15, 1920 – July 2, 1999) was an American author, screenwriter, and journalist. He is known for his crime novels about the Italian-American Mafia and Sicilian Mafia, most notably ''The Godfather'' (1969), which he later co-adapted into a film trilogy directed by Francis Ford Coppola. He received the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for the first film in 1972 and for ''Part II'' in 1974. Puzo also wrote the original screenplay for the 1978 '' Superman'' film and its 1980 sequel. His final novel, '' The Family'', was released posthumously in 2001. Personal life Puzo was born in the Hell's Kitchen section of New York City to Italian immigrants from Pietradefusi, Province of Avellino, Campania. It follows Tsunayoshi Sawada, a young boy who discovers that he is next in line to become boss of the Vongola family, a powerful Mafia organization. The antagonists of the ''Reborn!'' anime and manga series, known in Japan as ''Katekyō Hitman Reborn!'', are created by Akira Amano. Set in a fictional town called Namimori in Heisei, modern Japan, the series' main protagonists are of Japanese descent.
