''Mosagallaku Mosagadu'' () is a 1971 Indian Telugu-language Western action film directed by K. S. R. Das from a screenplay written by Aarudra. The film features Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala, Nagabhushanam, Kaikala Satyanarayana, Gummadi, Dhulipala, M. Prabhakar Reddy, and Jyothi Lakshmi in prominent roles. It is produced by G. Adiseshagiri Rao under the banner of Sri Padmalaya Films. Inspired from Western films such as ''For a Few Dollars More'' (1965), '' The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'' (1966), and '' Mackenna's Gold'' (1969), the story is set in the eighteenth century, in the anarchy prevailing after the Battle of Bobbili (1757). It revolves around finding the lost treasure belonging to the Amaraveedu dynasty. Principal photography of the film took place in Rajasthan, while a song sequence was shot in Himachal Pradesh. Aarudra
Arudra (born Bhagavatula Sadasiva Sankara Sastry; 31 August 1925 – 4 June 1998) was an Indian author, poet, lyricist, translator, publisher, dramatist, playwright, and an expert on Telugu literature. He is also known for his works in Telugu cinema as a lyricist, dialogue writer, and story writer. He received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1987. Early life Aarudra was born in Yelamanchili, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India on 31 August 1925. Aarudra is the nephew of Telugu poet Sri Sri. After primary education, he shifted to Vizianagaram in 1942 for his college education. Nagesh (born Cheyur Krishnarao Nageshwaran; (27 September 1933 – 31 January 2009) was an Indian actor, mostly remembered for his roles as a comedian in Tamil films during the 1960s. Mukkamala Krishna Murthy (1920–1987), known mononymously by his surname as Mukkamala (Telugu: ముక్కామల), was a lawyer turned actor who was active in Telugu films in the 1950s and the 1960s. He was a stage actor in his student days and was popular in the role of French General Bussy in ''Bobbili Yuddham'', a stage play based on the historical Battle of Bobbili (Bobbili Yuddham). He joined the Telugu film industry in the late 1940s in Madras and played a variety of character roles in a career lasting for about 35 years. He died in 1987.
