Moonshine Music

	Moonshine Music Moonshine Music was an electronic music record label founded by Steve Levy and Ricardo Vinas, in Los Angeles in 1992, and later headquartered in West Hollywood, California. Moonshine released over 250 compilations albums, many of which were DJ mixed. Moonshine helped to launch the career of DJ Keoki and his side-kick producer Dave Audé. By publishing the work of British audiovisual artists Addictive TV, Moonshine became one of the first US dance labels to release a DVD. Among Moonshine's other artists are NCT feat. Julie Harrington, Kellee, Robert Illes, Gary Butcher, D:Fuse, DJ Micro, AK1200, DJ Baby Anne, DJ Dara, DJ John Kelley, Dieselboy, Freaky Flow, Cirrus, Anabolic Frolic, Ferry Corsten, and Screaming Leads, DJ Feelgoo, Scott henry. It was released in 1997 on American breakbeat label Moonshine Music and is the first series in Frolic's ''Happy 2b Hardcore'' series of DJ mix albums, documenting the emergence of happy hardcore music in the United Kingdom and Europe. The series itself is a spin-off of Moonshine's '' Speed Limit 140 BPM+'' series of fast-tempo dance music compilations. The album was conceived to introduce American audiences to happy hardcore, and contains sixteen of the genre's anthems which carry many of happy hardcore's defining characteristics, such as fast tempo, frantic breakbeats, major key tonality, off-kilter, quirky keyboard effects and "semi-melodies." 	Donald Glaude Donald Glaude is an American house music artist, DJ and remixer, and is consistently ranked as one of ''DJ Mag''s top 100 DJs. Biography As a child, Glaude was classically trained in the upright bass and violin. After hearing early funk records as a child, he began experimenting with tape decks and a primitive Radio Shack mixer at home in Tacoma, Washington. Glaude began playing at nightclubs by the mid-1980s and began gaining name recognition in early turntablism. He had an early residency at 6th & Proctor in Tacoma, WA. In the early 1990s when the rave scene took hold up and down the west coast Glaude had a Friday residency at the Underground nightclub in Seattle.
