Montazur Rahman Akbar
Montazur Rahman Akbar is a Bangladeshi film director, screenwriter, producer, social activist and entrepreneur. He is known for his work in the Bengali-language film industry, which is centered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Akbar also fought in the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. After directing multiple plays, Akbar worked as an assistant director on the films '' Chhutir Ghonta'' and '' Janata Express'' under directors Matin Rahman and Azizur Rahman, respectively. He worked as an assistant director from 1979 to 1990. Akbar became a director in 1991. He has worked with actor Manna on 22 films, writer Abdullah Zahir Babu on 46 films, actor Dipjol on 19 films and editor Amzad Hossain on 24 films. Akbar has written screenplays for some of his films. Rajshahi Division ( bn, রাজশাহী বিভাগ) is one of the eight first-level administrative divisions of Bangladesh. It has an area of and a population at the 2011 Census of 18,484,858. Rajshahi Division consists of 8 districts, 70 Upazilas (the next lower administrative tier) and 1,092 Unions (the lowest administrative tier). The region has historically been dominated by various feudal Rajas, Maharajas and Zamindars. Riya Sen
Riya Sen (born Riya Dev Varma; 24 January 1981) is an Indian actress and model. who predominantly appears in Hindi, Bengali, English, Telugu and Tamil films. Sen comes from a royal background; her father Bharat Dev Varma hails from the royal family of Tripura. Monowar Hossain Dipjol ( bn, মনোয়ার হোসেন ডিপজল) is a Bangladeshi actor, businessman, and former ward commissioner. He is a current vice-president of the Bangladesh Film Artists' Association. Early life He is married to Rumana Monowar. Career He is a Dhallywood film actor, and owns Dipjol Food Industries Limited. He is best known for his style of dialogue and action. He is a supporter of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, and was elected ward commissioner of Dhaka ward number 9 in 1994. Azizur Rahman (10 October 1939 – 14 March 2022) was a Bangladeshi film director. His directorial debut was the 1967 film, ''Saiful Mulk Badiuzzamal''. ''Chhutir Ghonta'' ( bn, ছুটির ঘণ্টা '' When The Bell Rang'') is a 1980 Bangladeshi drama film written and directed by Azizur Rahman. It stars Razzak, Shabana, Sujata and Sumon in the lead. It is based on the true story of a twelve-year-old school boy named Khokon in Bangladesh, who starved to death after the washroom he was in was mistakenly closed by the caretaker the day before the Muslim vacation Eid-ul-Azha started. The boy was found dead after the vacation was over. Plot The film opens up at a mental asylum. At the beginning of the day, a man starts ringing a bell which infuriates one of the patients Abbas Mia.
