Highway 59 (MT 59) is a state highway in Montana, United States, that connects Wyoming Highway 59 (WYO 59) in Wyoming with Montana Highway 200 (MT 200) near the south end of the town of Jordan. WYO 59 continues south to the city of Gillette. The landscape traversed by MT 59 is mostly hilly and arid, largely used for open-range grazing; the only major commercial areas are the towns of Broadus and Miles City. For approximately in and near Broadus, MT 59 is concurrent with U.S. Route 212 (US 212). Route description MT 59 continues as Fence Creek Road from the Wyoming state line across the desert for several miles before traveling concurrently with US 212 north. Volborg is an unincorporated community in Custer County, Montana, United States. It is located south of Miles City, and is also the home of two-time PBR World Champion Jess Lockwood. Climate According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Volborg has a semi-arid climate, abbreviated "BSk" on climate maps. History The town consists of an elementary school, post office, store with gas pumps, two homes and a few small outbuildings. The town was founded by Charlie M. Allen and is named for his first wife Theoline (Tillie) Volborg Osmenson Allen. Family tradition has it that Charlie Allen had submitted a listing of names to the US Post Office for the name of the town. That original list was rejected. Forsyth, Montana
Forsyth is a city in and the county seat of Rosebud County, Montana, United States. The population was 1,647 at the 2020 census. Yellowstone National Park

A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. Miles City Airport or Frank Wiley Field is a city-owned airport two miles northwest of Miles City, in Custer County, Montana, United States. The airport was served by one airline, subsidized by the Essential Air Service program. EAS subsidies ended on July 15, 2013 due to subsidy per passenger exceeding $1000, leaving Miles City without scheduled air service.
