Monserrat Alarcón
Monserrat Alarcón (born 7 March 1994) is a Mexican professional boxer. She is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBA female light minimumweight title since 2018 and previously the WBO female flyweight title from 2017 to 2018. As of May 2020, she is ranked as the world's best active female light minimumweight by BoxRec. Professional career Alarcón made her professional debut on 3 November 2012, scoring a four-round unanimous decision (UD) victory against Perla Perez at the Foro Polanco in Mexico City, Mexico. After compiling a record of 5–2–1, she faced Brenda Ramos for the vacant Mexican female minimumweight title on 25 March 2015 at the Arena El Jefe in Monterrey, Mexico. Light Flyweight
Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division. On December 31, 1929, the New York State Athletic Commission also abolished the junior flyweight class. No champion had been crowned in this division prior to its abolition. Nora Leticia Cardoza Vazquez (born 16 April 1983) is a Mexican professional boxer. Technical Decision
A technical decision is a term used in boxing when a fight has to be stopped because of a headbutt. In boxing fights, referees have to pay deep attention to the action going on between the fighters, especially when the two combatants are fighting close to each other. That is because in the case of a cut, the referee must decide whether the cut was caused by a punch or a head collision. Only the referee can make that decision. Most head collisions in boxing are probably unintentional, especially when both boxers are trying for a knockout, many times getting involved in close range fights.
