Moi Et L'autre
''Moi et l'autre'' (also rendered as ''Moi... et l'autre'') was a Quebec French sitcom broadcast on Télévision de Radio-Canada, Radio-Canada between 1966 and 1971. The series starred Denise Filiatrault and Dominique Michel as best friends who were roommates at a Montreal apartment. The series tells of the ladies' numerous, often absurd, adventures, often with Denise as the perpetrator. Denise Filiatrault
Denise Filiatrault, (born May 16, 1931) is a Canadian actress and director. Biography Filiatrault attained star status on TV in the 1960s, co-starring with Dominique Michel in the Radio-Canada television series '' Moi et l'autre'' (1967–71) and in many editions of Radio-Canada's annual New Year's special, '' Bye Bye''. She had further success in ''Chez Denise'' (1978–1982), ''Le 101, avenue des Pins'' (1984–85) and ''Denise... aujourd'hui'' (1990–91). In addition to her television career, Filiatrault also performed in films and on stage, notably in works by Michel Tremblay. Dominique Michel, OC, CQ (born ''Aimée Sylvestre''; September 24, 1932 in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec) is a Quebec comedian, actress, singer and artist. Biography She began her career in cabarets performing songs written by Raymond Lévesque and subsequently sang with Jean Coutu. She made her television debut co-hosting a variety show then widened her audience with her first sitcom ''Moi et l'autre'' in which she co-starred with Denise Filiatrault. The show was an enormous success during its run from 1966 to 1972 and made Michel a household name in Quebec. She has been married only once in 1958 to New York Rangers all star Camille Henry but later divorced in 1960. From 1977 to 1982, she had numerous leading roles in television programs such as ''Dominique'', ''Chère Isabelle'' and ''Métro-boulot-dodo''.
