Mohammed Yousuf Tarigami
Mohammed Yousuf Tarigami is an Indian politician from Jammu and Kashmir. He is the Convenor and Spokesperson of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration. He earlier represented the Kulgam Assembly Constituency in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly in 1996, 2002, 2008 and 2014. He is the Central Committee Member of Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the former state secretary of CPI(M) in Kashmir. Early life Tarigami was born on 17 July 1949 to a farmer family in Tarigam village of Kulgam. His family name, comes from his village – Tarigam. His father is Late Gulam Rasool Rather. He could not appear for the B.A. Final Year examination, due to the political turbulence in Kashmir. He lost his wife in childbirth in 1975, during which he was a political prisoner. Kulgam District
Kulgam district is a district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located at a distance of towards south-west of Anantnag. The district comprises block, tehsil and town of Kulgam. Location Kulgam is situated near the Pir Panjal Ranges, overlooking the left bank of Veshaw River, along a rough, hilly road from Larow. Farooq Abdullah (born 21 October 1937) is an Indian politician who was Ex. President of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference. He has served as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on several occasions since 1982, and as the union minister for New and Renewable Energy between 2009 and 2014. The Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement (JKPM) is a political party in Jammu and Kashmir, India. History The party was founded in 2019 by Indian Administrative Service officer Shah Faesal. , the party is currently headed by Dr. Mustafa Khan after the resignation of Javed Mustafa Mir.
