Mohammed Ali Abdallah
Mohammed Ali Abdallah Addarrat (born 13 September 1975 in Tripoli, Libya) is a Libyan political activist. Serves as Senior Advisor to the Libyan Government of National Accord for US Affairs. Background He is the second of seven children to Ali Abdallah Addarrat & Fatima Senoussi. Political Activist Addarrat joined the National Front for the Salvation of Libya at a very young age in exile, and became one of its young protégés. Worked as part of Al-Inqad magazine publishing team, as well as part of the Radio Broadcasting team, and member of a musical group that produced patriotic songs about Libya. Appointed to the NFSL's Permanent Bureau in 2002, and later to its executive committee in 2004. He was elected as the Deputy Secretary General of the NFSL in 2007, serving with Mr. Ibrahim Sahad. Tripoli (; ar, طرابلس الغرب, translit= Ṭarābulus al-Gharb , translation=Western Tripoli) is the capital and largest city of Libya, with a population of about 1.1 million people in 2019. The National Front Party ( ar, حزب الجبهة الوطنية, ') is a political party in Libya, formed in May 2012. It is the successor to the National Front for the Salvation of Libya, an anti-Gaddafi resistance movement founded in 1981. Its ideology is considered liberal and progressive, and ''Libya Herald'' writer George Grant described the party as "arguably the most liberal-leaning of all in Congress." NFP holds 3 seats in the General National Congress (GNC), making it the third largest party. Its leader, Mohamed el-Magariaf served as the President of the GNC from 9 August 2012 to 28 May 2013.
