Mohamed Rasheed (actor)
Mohamed Rasheed (2 April 1964), professionally known as Dharaa Rasheed, is a Maldivian film actor, cinematographer, producer and director. Early life At the age of twelve, Rasheed along with his friends, Sodhiq and Kashima Ahmed Shakir, used to spend most of their times at his place, singing, playing table tennis and undertake Urdu classes. After completing his studies at Majeediyya School, Rasheed witnessed several cameras being carried to the recently developed broadcasting company, Television Maldives and decided to be a cameraman. During the time, him, along with other friends, Umar Zahir and guitarist Abdul Rauf used to perform music at small gatherings. At the age of seventeen, he applied to Television Maldives to work as a cameraman but his application was rejected due to no vacancy. Mariage Blanc
Mariage blanc (from the French, literally "white marriage") is a marriage that is without consummation. Niuma Mohamed
Niuma Mohamed (pronounced ; 20 October 1977) is a Maldivian film actress, director, and producer. The highest-paid actress in Maldives, Mohamed is the recipient of several awards, including two Gaumee Film Awards, and four Maldives Film Awards. She holds the record for collecting all three Maldives Film Awards for Best Actress in a feature film. In 2011, the Government of Maldives honoured her with the National Award of Recognition. Mohamed was born in Vaadhoo and raised in Male'. Ali Shameel
Ali Shameel is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career In 1986, Shameel took part in a stage-play titled CDS-6, alongside Kashima Shakir, Mohamed Rasheed and Chilhiya Moosa Manik which was appreciated among the audience and he continues to feature in several other stage dramas. In 1992, Shameel made his career debut in Ahmed Sharmeel and Ibrahim Waheed's family drama film ''Dhon Manma'' (1992) alongside Haajara Abdul Kareem, Ibrahim Shakir and Sharmeel. The film tells the story of a step-mother who strives to create a bond with her step-kids. Ibrahim Wisan
Ibrahim Wisan (born 27 February 1977), nicknamed as Kandi is a Maldivian cinematographer, actor and director. Career In 1996, Wisan starred in Mohamed Rasheed's '' Hifehettumeh Neiy Karuna'' opposite Niuma Mohamed, Abdul Raheem and Arifa Ibrahim. He again collaborated with Arifa Ibrahim for her drama film '' Dhauvaa'', an unofficial remake of Deepak Sareen's Bollywood film '' Aaina'' (1993), where he reprised the role played by Deepak Tijori in the original. Zalzalaa
''Zalzalaa'' is a 2000 Maldivian horror classic film written and directed by Ahmed Nimal. Produced by Aslam Rasheed under Slam Studio, the film stars Ibrahim Wisan, Niuma Mohamed and Ali Shameel in pivotal roles. Premise Ahmed Zameel ( Ibrahim Wisan) working at an office in Male' visits an island to handover his friend, Moosa's assets and cashes to his family after his shocking death. There he meets a happy-go-girl Shiuna Ibrahim (Niuma Mohamed) and a relationship grows between them. Zameel reveals that he has previously married to an indolent and irresponsible lady, Nashfa (Neena Saleem) and they are blessed with a son before he divorces her. Mohamed Manik (15 October 1969) is a Maldivian film actor and director. Sheela Najeeb (born 7 September 1974) is a Maldivian film actress. She has established a career in Maldivian Film Industry and is the recipient of several awards, one Gaumee Film Awards and two Maldivian Film Awards. ''Zalzalaa En'buri Aun'' is a 2010 horror film written, produced and directed by Ahmed Nimal. Produced under Nims Films, the film stars Yoosuf Shafeeu, Sheela Najeeb and Mohamed Manik in pivotal roles. The film was released on 26 April 2010. ''Jinni'' is a 2010 Maldivian horror film directed by Abdul Faththaah. Produced by Ahmed Sharan Hassan under Dash Studio, the film stars Ali Seezan, Mariyam Afeefa and Amira Ismail in pivotal roles. The film was released on 28 January 2010. The film is based on a true stories that occurred in an island of Maldives. The entire film is shot at B. Kamadhoo.
