Moda Records
Moda Records is a record label servicing hip hop, urban, rap, dance and pop music artists. Spearheaded by Nicky Kalliongis, Moda Records has been since its inception on the forefront of discovering alternate methods to producing music in addition to directing artists’ careers. Artists Anna Vissi, Flexy, Helena Paparizou, Dimension X, Jus Jack and Thalía have signed with Moda Records. Chart success Although Moda Records is a newcomer to the music world, it has had some success in the dance world: *In 2004 Flexy's song " Mamasita" enjoyed success in the top 10 of Billboard's dance charts, and it has gone number 1 on the DMX dance charts. *In 2005, Anna Vissi reached the number one spot on the Billboard dance charts with her song " Call Me". *In 2006 Helena Paparizou's My Number One claimed the 8th spot on the chart. A record label, or record company, is a brand or trademark of music recordings and music videos, or the company that owns it. "My Number One" is a song recorded by Greek-Swedish singer Helena Paparizou, written by Manos Psaltakis, Christos Dantis, Natalia Germanou and produced by Christos Dantis. It was the at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, held in Kyiv, awarding the country . The song is notable for casting elements of traditional Greek music in a contemporary dance music setting: its arrangement includes bouzoukis and a solo featuring a Cretan lyra. The song's lyrics describe the singer's appreciation for her lover who is lauded as her "number one" and "the only treasure hell ever have". "Call Me" is a song by Greek-Cypriot singer Anna Vissi, originally released in 2003 in Greek as "Ise" (You Are). Written by Nikos Karvelas, "Call Me" was released in October 2004 as a promo track for radio stations in the U.S. and DJs by Nicky Kalliongis on his record label Moda Records. It was later released in April 2005 during its Billboard success as a digital download. After its Billboard success, it was released in Greece and Cyprus as a CD single. Background "Call Me" was originally released in Greek as "Ise" (You Are) on Vissi's 2003 album ''Paraksenes Eikones''. DMX, A Mood Media company, is a "Multi-sensory" branding agency based in Austin, Texas. DMX also provides music for cable and satellite television networks worldwide, including DSTV in Africa. It was the first company to offer music by satellite. History AEI Music Network Inc. was founded in 1971 as a music service to license and program original artist music. Its primary focus was custom music programs provided on cassette tapes for domestic and foreign customers. In the 1980s, the company began providing services to international airlines as well as residential and cable television systems.
