Moa Lignell
Moa Lignell (born 6 June 1994 in Alingsås, Sweden) is a Swedish singer, who came in third place in ''Idol 2011''. Lignell released her first music single "When I Held Ya" during her time on Idol. She had sung the song during the ''Idol'' competition in 2011. Lignell has since her participation in the contest released two studio albums, ''Different Path'' and ''Ladie's man''. She has also released the singles "Whatever They Do", "Born to Be" and "If Someone", the latter being released in 2020 and marks the latest release from Lignell. Alingsås
Alingsås () is a locality and the seat of Alingsås Municipality in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 24,482 inhabitants in 2010. Geography Geographically the city is situated by the outlet of the small rivulet Säveån into lake Mjörn. Transportation links are provided by the western main line railway (''Västra stambanan'') between Stockholm and Gothenburg, and by motorway through the European route E20. Next to Alingsås you can also find a small village called Sollebrunn. History Alingsås was founded as inhabitants from the city Nya Lödöse were made homeless as Danish troops burnt it down. Gustavus Adolphus granted Alingsås its Royal Charter in 1619, which makes it older than Västra Götaland's largest city Gothenburg (which was granted its charter in 1621). Idol 2011
Idol 2011 was the Swedish Idol series' eight season and premiered on TV4 on 4 September 2011. Pär Lernström was the new host of the series, after Peter Jihde declined to return as host after Idol 2010. Two of the judges from earlier year returned, namely Anders Bagge and Laila Bagge Wahlgren, were joined in with two new judges, Alexander Bard and Pelle Lidell. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list.
