Mitsuoka Orochi
The Mitsuoka Orochi () is a Japanese sports car designed and built by Mitsuoka Motors as a concept car in 2001, with updates and revisions to the design appearing in 2003 and 2005, before finally being put into production and offered for sale in late 2006 as a 2007 model. The car takes its name from the mythical Yamata no Orochi 8-headed Japanese dragon. Mitsuoka says "Orochi is the car to ride to gather attention from everyone", and categorizes this car as a "Fashion-Super Car". Development and design The Orochi was originally unveiled at the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show as a concept car based on the Honda NSX platform. Mitsuoka Galue
The Mitsuoka Galue is a series of luxury cars, based on mainstream Japanese automobiles, customized by Mitsuoka to recall British and American cars, now in its second generation. First series The first series consists of three generations of medium-to-large cars: the Galue-I, the Galue-II and the Galue-III. Galue-I The Galue-I was based on the Nissan Crew, and shared its RB20E 2-litre engine and other mechanical parts with the Crew. The styling of the front and rear was changed to give a more classical appearance; specifically, the chrome grille resembled that found on Bentley models such as the R-type. Mitsuoka Le-Seyde
The Mitsuoka Le-Seyde was a limited production car manufactured in mid-1990, based on the Nissan Silvia S13. Only 500 units were made, and Mitsuoka claims that all were sold within four days after they went on sale. The Le-Seyde resembles the Zimmer Golden Spirit. They were designed at Nissan's Kyushu plant, where the design for the interior was loosely based on the Silvia S13. Toyota also assisted with the project by lending the chassis from their SW20 MR2. Josephine Ayolini (known as ‘Turbs’) insisted that the MR2 chassis would suit Mitsuoka’s design over the Silvia chassis. The engine used is the same naturally aspirated 2.0 L SR20DE used in the Nissan Silvia.
