Misty Love is an Americans, American, multi-platinum award-winning Rock music, rock, and rhythm and blues, Rhythm & Blues singing, singer, who is best known for her association with Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, and Ben Harper. Biography Misty Love was born in Tampa, Florida and was raised in Detroit, Detroit, Michigan. Misty was influenced by the Motown sound, and decided to become a singer at a young age. She currently resides in both Detroit, Michigan and Las Vegas, Nevada. After performing with many different bands around the Detroit area, her first big break came when she was selected as a replacement for Caroline Crawford to be the lead singer for Hamilton Bohannon, Bohannon. Davis (born April 29, 1938), known as Billy Davis, is an American rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, who is best known for his work with Hank Ballard & The Midnighters. Life and career Davis was born in Bentonia, Mississippi and moved to Memphis, Tennessee in childhood. He became inspired to play guitar at the age of 8, when he heard " That's All Right" by Arthur 'Big Boy' Crudup. In 1951, at the age of 13, Davis moved to Detroit, Michigan. "Picture" is a duet written by American music artists Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, released on November 12, 2002, as the fourth single and ninth track from Kid Rock's 2001 album '' Cocky''. The original recording on the album is performed by the song's writers. Rock re-recorded the song for radio with alternative country singer Allison Moorer because Atlantic was initially unable to get the rights from Crow's label to release the album version as a single. When the Moorer version was released, some radio stations began playing the Crow version instead, leading ''Billboard'' to credit the song variously to Kid Rock featuring Sheryl Crow or Allison Moorer. ''Cocky'' is the fifth studio album by American musician Kid Rock. Released in 2001, it is his third release for Atlantic Records. The album is known for featuring the ballad "Picture", recorded as a duet with Sheryl Crow. In May 2011, the album was certified 5× platinum by the RIAA and has sold 5,344,000 copies in the US as of December 2013. According to Kid Rock's official website that made a timeline for his 45th birthday in January 2016, ''Cocky'' was certified 6× platinum on August 26, 2008. Caroline Crawford
Caroline Crawford (born July 19, 1949) is an American rhythm and blues, pop, soul, and disco singer; and actress, who recorded as Carolyn Crawford for Motown Records in the early-mid 1960s, and for other labels later in her career. Career In 1963, at about age 14, she won a talent contest held by Detroit radio station WCHB, the prize for which was a contract with Motown Records.
