Mission Ustaad
{{Use dmy dates, date=December 2015 Mission Ustaad is an Indian musical reality show produced by Endemol India, that premiered on 1 December 2007. The show was telecast every Friday and Saturday at 9 pm on INX Media's Hindi General Entertainment Channel 9X. Featuring eight famous Indian singers as contestants, the show aimed to create awareness about the United Nations (UN) Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) across the country. The show was hosted by Simone Singh and the judges were composer A. R. Rahman, lyricist and scriptwriter Javed Akhtar and actress Lara Dutta. Shweta Pandit
Shweta Pandit (born 7 July 1986) is an Indian singer and actress from Bollywood. She is the grand-niece of Indian classical vocalist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, Pandit Jasraj. She has also recorded popular songs for various Telugu and Tamil film songs and many other Indian languages. At the young age of 4, Shweta worked with Indian composer, Ilayaraja for the award-winning film '' Anjali'', which was re-recorded in Hindi. She re-dubbed for the lead child in the film and also sang the songs in Hindi, making her one of the youngest singers in the Bollywood Music Industry. 9X was an Indian Hindi general entertainment channel based in Mumbai. It is owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL). The channel was launched on 12 November 2007 in India as the flagship of the INX Network. History Sale to Zee Enterprises On 8 March 2010, it was reported that Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. had made a bid of Rs 650 million for 9X, who owe Rs 1.30 billion to creditors. Sunali Rathod is an Indian playback singer. She is also a trained classical singer. Personal life Sunali Rathod was born Sonali Sheth on 17 January into a Gujarati family in Mumbai. She studied in St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. Kailash Kher (born 7 July 1973) is an Indian music composer and singer. He sings songs with a music style influenced by Indian folk music and Sufi music. He was inspired by the classical musicians' Pandit Kumar Gandharva, Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, and the Qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
