Miss Vincent
Miss Vincent is an English punk rock band formed in Southampton, Hampshire, England in 2012. The band currently features original frontman Alex Marshall and lead guitarist Lawrie Pattison, as well as bass player Owain Mainwaring and drummer Nate Davenport. All four members contribute to their two- and three-part harmony vocals, a trademark of the band's sound. In August 2020, the band signed to Silent Cult Records, having previously been signed to Uncle M Records and Engineer Records, and in May 2021 announced their debut full-length album, ''A Funeral For Youth'' which was released that September. The original three-piece lineup formed in 2012 and featured Marshall on bass guitar and original drummer Jack Donnelly. In 2013 the band recruited Mainwaring, allowing Marshall to move to rhythm guitar, and replaced Donnelly in 2017 with Davenport. Danny & the Juniors are an American doo-wop and rock and roll vocal group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania originally consisting of Danny Rapp, Dave White, Frank Maffei and Joe Terranova. Formed in 1955, they are most widely recognized for their 1957 hit single "At the Hop". 1950s Danny Rapp (lead), Frank Maffei (2nd tenor), Joe Terranova (baritone) (aka Joe Terry), and Dave White Tricker (first tenor) (aka Dave White) met at John Bartram High School and started singing together in the mid 1950s. Known as the Juvenaires at the time, they sang at school parties and other local events. Local record producer John Madara, took notice of them and introduced them to local DJs Larry Brown and Artie Singer, who had a record label known as Singular Records. "Diana" is a song written and first performed by Paul Anka, who recorded it in May 1957 at Don Costa’s studio in New York City. Anka stated in his autobiography that the song was inspired by a girl named Diana Ayoub (13 March 1939 – 1 December 2022), whom he had met at his church and community events, and had developed a crush on. The Five Satins are an American doo-wop group, best known for their 1956 million-selling song, "In the Still of the Night (The Five Satins song), In the Still of the Night." They were formed in 1954 and continued performing until 1994. When it was formed, the group consisted of six members, which was eventually cut down to five. ''Good Mourning'' is the fourth studio album by American punk rock band Alkaline Trio, released May 13, 2003 on Vagrant Records. Background and production Towards the end of May 2002, the band recorded their next album; they "decided that waiting until after Warped Tour would be too long." Recording sessions were held at Cello Studios with producers Joe McGrath and Jerry Finn. The album marks the first appearance of drummer Derek Grant, described by vocalist/guitarist Matt Skiba as "a whole new influence."
