Miss Venezuela 2021 was the 68th edition of the Miss Venezuela pageant held on October 28, 2021 at the Estudio 1 de Venevisión in Caracas, Venezuela. Mariángel Villasmil of Zulia crowned Amanda Dudamel of Región Andina as her successor at the end of the event. She represented Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2022 competition, placing as the 1st Runner-Up. Mariem Claret Velazco García (born 9 November 1998 in San Tomé, Venezuela, San Tomé, Anzoátegui) is a Venezuelans, Venezuelan TV host, model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss International 2018 in Tokyo, Japan. She won both her Miss Venezuela International and Miss International titles on her actual birthday. Personal life Velazco was born and raised in San Tomé, Venezuela. Miss World 2023 will be the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant, to be held in the United Arab Emirates in 2023, marking the first edition to stage the final in the Middle East. Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event. San Cristóbal () is the capital city of the Venezuelan state of Táchira. It is located in a mountainous region of Western Venezuela.
