Miss Sri Lanka Online
Miss Sri Lanka Online is an annual online beauty pageant. Miss Sri Lanka Online primarily used Facebook to run the contest. It is said to be the world's first major online beauty pageant. The contest debuted in 2012. In 2019 the event got a new look with new sponsors and a more interactive website in 2019. The first event was streamed online live to a global audience on 6 December 2012. Contest The national level pageant takes entries locally and from Sri Lankans living overseas. Applicants log onto a website which then directs them to the Facebook page where they can upload a photograph of themselves which will be judged. The best 50 contestants are then selected and the public votes ('Like' on Facebook) for their preferred contestant. The top 25 candidates then provide three more photographs and a short video clip, which again will be voted for by the public. The finalists are judged by a panel. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Hundreds and thousands of beauty contests are held annually, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious, widely covered and broadcast by media. Vivek Oberoi
Vivek Anand Oberoi (born 3 September 1976) is an Indian actor who mainly works in Hindi cinema, in addition to working in few Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films. Early life Vivek Oberoi was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, to a Punjabi father, Suresh Oberoi, an actor. In 1974, Suresh married Yashodhara, a Tamil, in Chennai. ''Australia's Got Talent'' is an Australian reality television talent show. The show is based on the ''Got Talent'' series format that originated in the United Kingdom with Simon Cowell. The first six seasons aired on the Seven Network, from 2007 to 2012. In the first season the judges were Tom Burlinson, Red Symons and Dannii Minogue. The first season aired at 6:30pm on Sunday nights. After a successful run, the series was given a vote of confidence as Seven moved the show to a more competitive Tuesday night timeslot. The second season aired from 29 April 2008. Burlinson and Symons did not return for season four and were replaced by Kyle Sandilands and Brian McFadden. Andrew De Silva
Andrew Conrad De Silva (born 23 November 1974) is an Australian R&B and Rock music singer. He was a member of the band CDB from 1993 to 1998, when he left to undergo treatment for cancer. Yureni Noshika
Yureni Noshika (born 29 January 1984) is an actress in Sri Lankan cinema and television as well as a singer and media personality. Noshika began her career winning the Miss Sri Lanka for Miss World contest and went on to commercials before making it in the television and movie industries. Early life Noshika was born in Sri Lanka as the only child in the family. Raised Christian, she studied at Methodist College in Colombo. Noshika was gaining qualifications to follow a career in law but this is currently on hold due to her acting obligations. Colombo Fashion Week (CFW), is a semiannual fashion show held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, with spring/summer (February – March) and Swim Wear in autumn (September – October); Swim Week Colombo.
