Miss Connecticut Teen USA
The Miss Connecticut Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Connecticut in the Miss Teen USA pageant. The state pageant directors are: *Crown Productions from 2003 to 2008 *Sanders & Associates, Inc., dba- Pageant Associates based in Buckhannon, West Virginia from 2009 to 2017 *Five Crown Pageant Productions based in Washington, D.C. from 2018 to 2019 *Ewald Productions from 2020 Connecticut has been one of the least successful states at Miss Teen USA. In 2002, Ashley Bickford's placement followed the 4th runner-up placement of Miss Connecticut USA Alita Dawson, who had previously been Miss Connecticut Teen-USA 1997. This was Connecticut's highest joint placement, and the highest joint placement of any state that year. Beauty Pageant
A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Miss Teen USA 2021
Miss Teen USA 2021 was the 39th Miss Teen USA pageant, held on November 27, 2021, at the Paradise Cover Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The competition was hosted by Kalani Hilliker and Nicole Adamo. For a fourth consecutive year, the competition was held concurrently alongside the Miss USA competition. The edition marked the first year of the competition under Crystle Stewart's directorship. This was the first time since 1988 that the State Costume competition took place before the eve of preliminary competition. The Miss Connecticut competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Connecticut in the Miss America pageant. Connecticut has won the Miss America crown once (Marian Bergeron, 1933), and is the only New England state which has produced a Miss America. The current titleholder is Sylvana González of Farmington was crowned on April 9, 2022, at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. Hebron is a town in Tolland County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 9,098 at the 2020 census. Hebron was incorporated May 26, 1708. Miss Teen USA 2016 was the 34th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 30, 2016. Katherine Haik of Louisiana crowned her successor Karlie Hay of Texas, at the end of the event. The pageant was webcast on the Miss Universe website, Facebook page, and mobile app as well as on Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles via Xbox Live. Miss Teen USA 2017
Miss Teen USA 2017 was the 35th Miss Teen USA pageant held at the Phoenix Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona on July 29, 2017. Karlie Hay of Texas crowned her successor, Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff of Missouri at the end of the event. The pageant was hosted by celebrity personal trainer and author Heidi Powell and E! correspondent Erin Lim, while Mexican singer Jorge Blanco performed. It was the first time the pageant was held in Arizona and the first to broadcast in high dynamic range (HDR) color, virtual reality and on PlayStation consoles. Westport is a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States, along the Long Island Sound within Connecticut's Gold Coast. It is northeast of New York City.
