Miss Connecticut's Outstanding Teen
''For the state pageant affiliated with Miss Teen USA, see Miss Connecticut Teen USA'' The Miss Connecticut's Teen competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the U.S. state of Connecticut in the Miss America's Teen pageant. Peyton Troth of Bristol was crowned Miss Connecticut's Outstanding Teen 2022 on April 9, 2022, at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. She competed for the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas in Dallas, Texas on August 12, 2022, where she was a Teens in Action finalist along with winning a Preliminary Evening Wear/On Stage Question award. In January 2023, the official name of the pageant was changed from Miss Connecticut's Outstanding Teen, to Miss Connecticut's Teen, in accordance with the national pageant. Miss Teen USA
Miss Teen USA is a beauty pageant formerly run, since 1983, by the Miss Universe Organization for girls aged 14–19. Unlike its sister pageants Miss Universe, which currently broadcasts on Fox and Miss USA, this pageant is webcast on the Miss Teen USA website and simulcast on mobile devices and video game consoles. The Miss Universe Organization previously operated Miss Teen USA, as well as Miss USA, until 2020 when the rights to produce both pageants were licensed to Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart. The parent company of all three pageants and the Miss Universe organization remains the same under the licensing agreement: JKN Metaverse Inc., a subsidiary of JKN Global Group. Miss USA 2022
Miss USA 2022 was the 71st Miss USA pageant. The competition was held on October 3, 2022 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada and was broadcast on the FYI cable channel. The competition was hosted by Zuri Hall for the second consecutive year, while Julissa Bermudez and Micah Jesse served as sideline correspondents. This competition was also rebroadcast on October 19, 2022 on the official YouTube channel. Elle Smith of Kentucky crowned R'Bonney Gabriel of Texas as her successor at the end of the event. Miss Connecticut USA is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Connecticut in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by its winner. The pageant is directed by Ewald Productions. Connecticut's most successful placement was in 2013, when Erin Brady was crowned Miss USA. Connecticut's most recent placement was in 2022, when Cynthia Dias placed in the Top 12. Ellington, Connecticut
Ellington is a town in Tolland County, Connecticut, United States. Ellington was incorporated in May 1786, from East Windsor. As of the 2020 census, the town population was 16,426. History Originally the area in what is now Ellington was named by the natives as “Weexskashuck” which translates to “Great Marsh”. The earliest settlers called the area Great Marsh or Goshen. In 1671, the town of Windsor, purchased the land of East Windsor and Ellington from the Native Americans to recover land loss from the Connecticut-Massachusetts border dispute.
