Misaki Station (Chiba)
is a passenger railway station located in the city of Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Shin-Keisei Electric Railway. Lines Misaki Station is served by the Shin-Keisei Line, and is located from the terminus of the line at Matsudo Station. Station layout The station consists of two opposed side platforms, with an elevated station building. Platforms History Misaki Station was opened on 8 January 1949. The current elevated station building was completed in 1987. Future plans Effective April 2025, the station is to come under the aegis of Keisei Electric Railway as the result of the buyout of the Shin-Keisei Railway. Shin-Keisei Line
The is a railway line in Japan owned by the private railway company Shin-Keisei Electric Railway, a subsidiary of Keisei Electric Railway. The line runs between Matsudo Station in Matsudo, Chiba, and Keisei-Tsudanuma Station in Narashino, Chiba. Operations All trains stop at all stations. Most trains operate throughout the line, although during the morning hours, some services terminate at Shin-Tsudanuma. In mornings and nights some trains originate or terminate at Kunugiyama. Services operate at a frequency of one train every 4 minutes in the morning peak, every 10 minutes during the day, and every 8 minutes in the evening peak. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. Matsudo Station
is an interchange railway station in the city of Matsudo, Chiba, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and the private railway company Shin-Keisei Electric Railway. Lines Matsudo Station is served by the Jōban Line and is 15.7 km from the terminus of the line at Nippori Station in Tokyo. The (stylized as K'SEI since 2001) is a major private railway in Chiba Prefecture and Tokyo, Japan. The name ''Keisei'' is the combination of the kanji 京 from and 成 from , which the railway's main line connects. The combination uses different readings than the ones used in the city names.
