Ministry Of Foreign Economic Relations
The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) is a cabinet-level executive agency of the State Council of China. It is responsible for formulating policy on foreign trade, export and import regulations, foreign direct investments, consumer protection, market competition (competition regulator) and negotiating bilateral and multilateral trade agreements. It is in charge of the administration of foreign trade pursuant to the Foreign Trade Law. The current Commerce minister is Wang Wentao. History Before October 1949, the Ministry of Economic Affairs was the governing agency of the Republic of China on the mainland responsible for economic trade issues. Li Lanqing
Li Lanqing (; born 22 May 1932) is a retired Chinese politician who served as first-ranked Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China between 1998 and 2003. He was a member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) between 1997 and 2002, and a regular Politburo member from 1992 to 1997. Financial Secretary Of Hong Kong
The Financial Secretary () is the title held by the Hong Kong government minister who is responsible for all economic and financial matters (“Department of Finance” per Article 60 of the Basic Law). The position is among the three most senior Principal Officials of the Government, second only to the Chief Secretary in the order of precedence (but not subordinate to the CS). Together with other secretaries, the Financial Secretary is accountable to the Legislative Council and the Chief Executive (the Governor before the 1997 transfer of sovereignty) for his actions in supervising the formulation and implementation of financial and economic policies. An Min
An Min (; ca. 1050 – 1125) was an official stone carver during the Song Dynasty. The story of An Min is included in the book '' History of Song'', where his honorable character and outstanding moral principles are praised. Work An Min was working under Emperor Huizong of Song during the Chongning era (崇寧; 1102–1106) and refused to carve the Yuanyou Dang Ren stele for the Yuanyou Partisans. (Yuanyou era: 元祐; 1086–1094). With this kind of loyalty An Min expressed his political stand while other officials dare not to speak out their voices. For his integrity An Min became famous, in spite of his insignificant status. Gao Hucheng (; born August 1951) is a retired Chinese politician and business executive. Between 2013 and 2017, he served as the Commerce Minister of the People's Republic of China. Previously, he was Vice Minister of Commerce and Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Gao holds a doctoral degree in sociology from the University of Paris VII and is fluent in French. Chen Deming
Chen Deming (; born 1949) is a former the President of Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits of the People's Republic of China. Early life Chen was born in Shanghai in 1949. He went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, a Master's Degree from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, and later a Doctorate in Administration from Nanjing University Business School.
