Minister For Integration (Sweden)
The Minister for Integration (Swedish language, Swedish: ''Integrationsminister'') was a cabinet minister within the Swedish Government between 1996 and 2014. The cabinet minister was appointed by the Prime Minister of Sweden. The minister was responsible for issues regarding Racial integration, integration, discrimination, Human rights, human rights at the national level, Swedish nationality law, Swedish citizenship and Minority group, minorities. The last Minister for Integration was Erik Ullenhag, who served from 2010 to 2014. When the Andersson Cabinet took office in November 2021, the minister post was re-established. It was placed at the Ministry of Justice (Sweden), Ministry of Justice, and combined with Minister for Migration (Sweden), Minister of Migration. Johan Pehrson
Carl Johan Georg Pehrson (born 8 May 1968) is a Swedish politician who has been leader of the Liberal Party since 8 April 2022. He has been a Member of Parliament since 2018, representing Örebro County, and previously represented the same constituency from 1998 to 2015. He is Minister for Employment and Minister for Integration since October 2022. Biography Early life and career Pehrson was born in Längbro in Örebro County. He has a Bachelor of Laws degree from Uppsala University. He became a member of the Liberal People's Party in 1985 with a previous background from the Liberal Youth of Sweden. The Liberals ( sv, Liberalerna, L), known as the Liberal People's Party ( sv, Folkpartiet liberalerna) until 22 November 2015, is a conservative liberal political party in Sweden. The Liberals ideologically have shown a broad variety of liberal tendencies. Currently they are seen as following classical liberalism and economic liberalism. The party is a member of the Liberal International and Renew Europe. Historically the party was positioned in the centre of the Swedish political landscape, willing to cooperate with both the political left and the right. The Ministry of the Interior ( sv, Inrikesdepartementet, In) was a ministry in Sweden established in 1947. The department dealt with matters concerning general health and medical care, the police service, the fire service, and the local government. The ministry was headed by the minister of the interior. John Fredrik Reinfeldt (pronounced ; born 4 August 1965) is a Swedish economist, lecturer, and former politician who was Prime Minister of Sweden from 2006 to 2014, and chairman of the liberal conservative Moderate Party from 2003 to 2015. Nyamko Ana Sabuni (born 31 March 1969) is a Swedish politician who was Leader of the Liberals between June 2019 and April 2022. She previously served as Minister for Integration from 2006 to 2010 and as Minister for Gender Equality from 2006 to 2013 in the Swedish government. A member of the Liberal Party, Sabuni was elected a Member of Parliament in 2002. Jens Olov Heinrich Orback (born 21 April 1959 in Stockholm) is a Swedish Social Democratic politician. He was Minister for Democracy, Metropolitan Affairs, Integration, and Gender Equality in the Ministry of Justice in the Cabinet of Göran Persson (2004-2006). Mona Ingeborg Sahlin ( born 9 March 1957) is a Swedish politician who was leader of the opposition and leader of the Swedish Social Democratic Party from 2007 to 2011.
