Minister For Regional New South Wales
The Minister for Regional New South Wales is a minister in the Government of New South Wales who has responsibilities for regional areas. The current minister is Paul Toole who is also the Deputy Premier of New South Wales and the Minister for Police. The minister is responsible for administering the Regional NSW cluster. In the second Perrottet ministry there are four additional ministers with specific regional responsibility: * Minister for Regional Health, Bronnie Taylor * Minister for Regional Transport and Roads, Sam Farraway * Minister for Regional Youth, Ben Franklin * Minister for Western New South Wales, Dugald Saunders. Paul Toole
Paul Lawrence Toole (born 2 August 1970), an Australian politician, is the Deputy Premier and leader of the New South Wales Nationals since October 2021. Toole is the Minister for Regional New South Wales in the second Berejiklian and Perrottet ministries, since April 2019; and the New South Wales Minister for Police in the Perrottet ministry since December 2021. He is a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, representing Bathurst for the Nationals since 26 March 2011. Toole was previously the Deputy Leader of the NSW Nationals between 2019 and 2021; served as the Minister for Regional Transport and Roads between April 2019 and December 2021; the Minister for Lands and Forestry and the Minister for Racing in the First Berejiklian ministry from January 2017 until March 2019; and the Minister for Local Government in the Second Baird ministry from April 2014 until January 2017. Minister For Regional Youth (New South Wales)
The New South Wales Minister for Regional Youth is a minister in the New South Wales Government with responsibility for providing a whole-of-government approach to regional youth issues in New South Wales, Australia. It was first established in 1956 as the Minister for Child Welfare in the third ministry of Joe Cahill, with the principal responsibility being the care of neglected, orphaned and delinquent children through the Child welfare department. The department had existed since 1881 initially under the Colonial Secretary. The portfolio was held in conjunction with that of Social Welfare until 1973 when they were combined as the portfolio of Youth and Community Services. Youth Affairs were part of the responsibilities of the Minister for Education from 1988 until 1995 when a separate portfolio was re-created as the Minister Assisting the Premier on Youth Affairs. Carr Ministry (1999–2003)
The Carr ministry (1999–2003) or Third Carr ministry was the 87th ministry of the New South Wales Government, and was led by the 39th Premier of New South Wales, Bob Carr, representing the Labor Party. Carl Scully
Patrick Carl Scully (born 4 April 1957), is a former Australian politician and minister in the New South Wales Government before his forced resignation on 25 October 2006 for deceit from misleading parliament. Background and early career Scully was born in Sydney and educated at state schools. He graduated in law from Macquarie University, Sydney, and was active in the Labor Party since 1976. He practised as a solicitor between 1983 and 1990.
