Minas De Matahambre
Minas de Matahambre () is a municipality and town in the Pinar del Río Province of Cuba. It was declared a National Monument of Cuba. Geography The municipality faces the Gulf of Mexico to the north, where the cays of the Colorados Archipelago are developed off-shore. It is bordered by the municipalities of Mantua, Guane, San Juan y Martínez and Viñales. The municipality includes the villages of Baja, Cabezas, Pons, La Sabana, Río del Medio, Santa Lucía, Sitio Morales and Sumidero. The Colorados Archipelago ( es, Archipiélago de los Colorados, also called ''Archipiélago de Santa Isabel'' and ''Archipiélago de Guaniguanico'') is a chain of isles and cays on Cuba's north-western coast. Administratively, Cuba is divided into 15 provinces and one special municipality (the Isla de la Juventud). Pinar Del Río Province
Pinar del Río is one of the provinces of Cuba. It is at the western end of the island of Cuba. Geography The Pinar del Río province is Cuba's westernmost province and contains one of Cuba's three main mountain ranges, the Cordillera de Guaniguanico, divided into the easterly Sierra del Rosario and the westerly Sierra de los Órganos. These form a landscape characterised by steep sided limestone hills (called mogotes) and flat, fertile valleys. One such topographic feature, the Viñales Valley, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Viñales
Viñales is a town and municipality in the north-central Pinar del Río Province of Cuba. The town consists mostly of one-story wooden houses with porches. The municipality is dominated by low mountain ranges of the Guaniguanico, Cordillera de Guaniguanico such as Sierra de los Órganos. Typical outcrops known as ''mogotes'' complete the karstic character of the landscape.
