Mina Ahadi
Mina Ahadi ( fa, مینا احدی, Minâ Ahadi, born 1956) is an Iranian-Austrian political activist. As a Communist political activist, she is a member of the Central Committee and Politburo of the Worker-communist Party of Iran. Advocacy Mina Ahadi is opposed to faith-based laws and promotes citizenship rights and one secular law. Ahadi is also the main figure of International Committee Against Executions and International Committee Against Stoning. She is also the main founder of the German Central Council of Ex-Muslims. The Central Council of Ex-Muslims aims to break the taboo that comes with renouncing Islam and to oppose apostasy laws and Islam. Life Ahadi's husband, who was also a political activist, was executed in Iran on the date of the couple's anniversary. His execution became her motivation to fight against capital punishment. Abhar
Abhar ( fa, ابهر) is a city in the Zanjan Province of Iran. It has historically served as a place of importance due to lying right between the cities of Qazvin and Zanjan. Name "Abhar" is a combination of the words ''āb'' (water) and ''har'' (mill), due to the various water mills in the area. In the 10th-century geography book '' Hudud al-'Alam'', the name is spelt as "Awhar". Yaqut al-Hamawi (died 1229) likewise reports that the Persians called the city "Awhar". History Foundation and pre-Islamic history The Abhar-rud valley has remains and artifacts that date back to the 2nd millennium BC. Abhar's ancient origins are further demonstrated by the fact that it is linked by Islamic-era writers to mythological and semi-mythical individuals in Kayanian era. Arzu Toker
Arzu Toker (born 1952) is a German-speaking writer, journalist, publicist and translator of Turkish descent. Biography Toker was born in 1952 in Halfeti, Turkey. She moved to Germany in 1974, where she has lived ever since. Early 2007, she and Mina Ahadi were amongst the founders of the Central Council of Ex-Muslims, a German association that aims to represent people who have renounced Islam. Toker opines that Islam is inhumane, contrary to the German Constitution and both misogynous and misandrous: according to her, women in Islam are being "degraded to breeding machines". She warns that in many Dutch cities there are women's and day care centres in the hands of Islamists. By allowing this Islamic pillarisation, the Netherlands are too tolerant in Toker's view.
