Millars River
The Mijares or Millars ( es, Mijares, ca, Millars, an, Millars) is a river in Aragon and the Valencian Community, eastern Spain. It flows into the Mediterranean Sea between Almassora and Burriana. The Mijares River marks the southernmost limit of the Catalan Mediterranean System. This river originates at a height of 1,600 m in the Sierra de Gúdar, Sistema Ibérico. It is 156 km long, with a 4,028 km2 wide basin and an average flow of 14.72 m3 per second at Cirat. Sistema Ibérico
The Iberian System ( es, Sistema Ibérico, ) is one of the major systems of mountain ranges in Spain. It consists of a vast and complex area of mostly relatively high and rugged mountain chains and massifs located in the central region of the Iberian Peninsula, but reaching almost the Mediterranean coast in the Valencian Community in the east. The system is hydrographically important, as it separates the watersheds of most of the major rivers in Spain and Portugal, including the Ebro basin from the basins of the Douro, Tagus, Guadiana (Záncara- Gigüela), Júcar and Turia. There are important mining areas in some of the ranges such as Sierra Menera, Sierra de Arcos and Sierra de San Just, making the system one of the chief mining regions in Spain since ancient times. Sierra De Gúdar
Sierra de Gúdar is a mountain range in the Gúdar-Javalambre and Maestrazgo comarcas of Aragon and the Alto Mijares comarca of the Valencian Community, Spain. The highest point in the range is Peñarroya (2,019 m). Geography This mountain range is located at the eastern end of the Iberian System and the Sierra de Nogueruelas is its easternmost prolongation. The Sierra Mayabona is another subrange of the Sierra de Gúdar. Its summits are usually covered in snow in the winter and the 1710 m high Cabezo de las Cruces is one of the highest peaks of the Land of Valencia. Mora de Rubielos is the most important town in this mountainous zone. The range is named after the town of Gúdar.
