Mill Woods Town Centre
Mill Woods Town Centre is a shopping centre located in south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in the neighbourhood of Mill Woods. It contains service and retail including North Central CO-OP and Shoppers Drug Mart. Some surrounding satellite stores are located in and around the mall's exterior properties. Stores inside the mall include Tim Hortons, M&M Meat Shops Ltd.,Alberta Works Support Service Center, Telus Mobility, and more. There is also an ETS transit centre on the northern side of the property. History Development for the mall started in the late 1970s; it was designed so that people would not have to leave Mill Woods to get access to major department stores. Mill Woods is a residential area in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Located in southeast Edmonton, Mill Woods is bounded by Whitemud Drive ( Highway 14) to the north, 91 Street to the west, 34 Street to the east, and Anthony Henday Drive (Highway 216) to the south. Mill Woods Town Centre is best known for its shopping mall and is the commercial centre of the Mill Woods area of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Mill Woods stop is a tram stop under construction in the Edmonton Light Rail Transit network in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It will serve as the south terminus of the Valley Line. Zellers was a Canadian discount department retail chain and is currently a brand name owned by the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC). Founded in 1931 in London, Ontario, in later decades it was based in Brampton, Ontario. Zellers was acquired by HBC in 1978 before closing in 2013.
