Miles Reid (rugby Union)
Miles Reid (born 5 September 1998) is a rugby union player for Bath Rugby. He plays as a back row forward. Career Reid made his senior debut for Bath in January 2018 against Newcastle Falcons in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. Bath won 21–8 at the Rec. He received praise for his performance against Ospreys as Bath won 32–19 to make the 2017–18 Anglo-Welsh Cup semi finals. In February 2024, he signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with Bath, having made 91 first team appearances, including several as captain. Personal life From Bath, his father Mark was a rugby player at Bath RFC and played for Bath United/Spartans during the 1980s. Bath () is a city in the Bath and North East Somerset unitary area in the county of Somerset, England, known for and named after its Roman-built baths. At the 2021 Census, the population was 101,557. Beechen Cliff School
Beechen Cliff School is a boys' secondary school in Bath, Somerset, England, with about 1,150 pupils. Its earliest predecessor school was founded in 1896. There are around 930 boys in years 7 to 11 and a co-educational sixth form of 402 pupils. The school offers the option of state boarding. Flanker is a position in the sport of rugby union. Each team of 15 players includes two flankers, who play in the Forwards (rugby union), forwards, and are generally classified as either List of rugby union terms#B, blindside or List of rugby union terms#O, openside flankers, numbers 6 and 7 respectively. The name comes from their position in a Scrum (rugby union), scrum in which they 'flank' each set of forwards. Newcastle Falcons
Newcastle Falcons is a rugby union team that play in Premiership Rugby, England's highest division of rugby union. The club was established in 1877 as the Gosforth Football Club. Around 1882 the club merged with the Northumberland Football Club and briefly assumed their name until 1887. In 1990, the name was changed to Newcastle Gosforth and the club began to play at Kingston Park stadium in Kingston Park, Newcastle upon Tyne. The Anglo-Welsh Cup (), was a cross-border rugby union knock-out cup competition that featured the 12 Premiership Rugby clubs and the four Welsh regions. It was a created as a replacement for the RFU Knockout Cup, which featured only English clubs. The competition was replaced by the Premiership Rugby Cup, involving only the 12 English Premiership clubs, beginning with the 2018–19 season. Thomas Michael de Glanville (born 10 December 1999) is an English professional rugby union player who plays at fly-half or fullback for Bath Rugby in the Gallagher Premiership. He is the son of Yolanda and Phil de Glanville, the former captain of the England national rugby union team. Career De Glanville attended school at Beechen Cliff School in Bath and joined Bath Rugby academy. After attaining 3 As at A-Level, he then moved to the University of Leeds to study Biology and was loaned to National League 2 North side Otley R.U.F.C. on a dual-registration whilst studying there. Orlando Bailey
Orlando Bailey (born 30 September 2001) is an English professional rugby union player who plays for Bath in the Gallagher Premiership. Club career Bailey started to play rugby as a child at Dorchester RFC before joining the Bath academy at the age of fourteen. In September 2020 he made his club debut for Bath in a league game against Worcester Warriors. International career In 2019 Bailey represented the England under-18 team. He was a member of the England under-20 squad that completed a grand slam during the 2021 Six Nations Under 20s Championship.
