Milan Stanković
Milan Stanković ( sr-cyrl, Милан Станковић; born 9 September 1987) is a Serbian singer-songwriter. He rose to prominence as a finalist on the televised singing competition ''Zvezde Granda'' in 2007, and acquired wider fame by representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway with "Ovo je Balkan", where he finished in 13th place. Additionally, he served as a judge on the children's singing competition ''Pinkove Zvezdice'' (2014-2018). Early life Milan Stanković was born on September 9, 1987 in Obrenovac, SFR Yugoslavia and was raised by a single mother. According to Stanković, his father, who was arrested for homicide when Milan was five months old, died after five years in prison under unexplained circumstances. Pink Music Festival 2014
Pink Music Festival 2014 was the first edition of the Pink Music Festival contest organised by Serbian broadcaster RTV Pink and featuring artists from City Records. It was held in the RTV Pink studio in Šimanovci on the outskirts of Belgrade on 28 and 29 April 2014 and broadcast live on RTV Pink. All songs were mimed, which was much-criticised by the Serbian press. Preparation The contest was announced on 7 March 2014, and artists had a one-month window to submit songs before the deadline of 12pm on 6 April 2014. From the 700–800 songs submitted, the final lineup of 26 songs was chosen by a four-member selection committee comprising Željko Mitrović (director and editor-in-chief of RTV Pink), Milica Mitrović (RTV Pink programming executive), Darko Popović (RTV Pink PR manager) and Bane Stojanović (head of City Records). Marina Tucaković ( sr-Cyrl, Марина Туцаковић; 4 November 1953 – 19 September 2021) was a Serbian lyricist and songwriter. Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Tucaković had a degree from the Economic Faculty at the University of Belgrade. She first started writing songs at the age of 19. After the success of "Dodirni mi kolena" by the Yugoslav rock group Zana and vocalist Zana Nimani, Tucaković continued working with numerous artists in then Yugoslavia. Before she oriented towards folk music, she collaborated with Yugoslav pop, rock and new wave artists such as Oliver Mandić, Zana, Slađana Milošević and Oliver Dragojević. Serbia In The Eurovision Song Contest 2010
Serbia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Ovo je Balkan" written by Goran Bregović, Marina Tucaković and Ljiljana Jorgovanović. The song was performed by Milan Stanković.
