Milada Karbanová
Milada Karbanová, married Matoušová (born 27 March 1948 in Jablonec nad Nisou) is a retired high jumper from the Czech Republic. She won four medals at the European Indoor Championships as well as a silver medal at the 1974 European Championships in Athletics, representing Czechoslovakia. Jablonec Nad Nisou
Jablonec nad Nisou (; german: Gablonz an der Neiße) is a city in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 45,000 inhabitants. It is the second-largest city in the region. It is a local centre for education, and is known for its glass and jewelry production. The town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone. Administrative parts Jablonec nad Nisou is made up by eight city parts: Jablonec nad Nisou, Jablonecké Paseky, Kokonín, Lukášov, Mšeno nad Nisou, Proseč nad Nisou, Rýnovice and Vrkoslavice.
