Mike Minogue (actor)
Mike Minogue is a New Zealand television and film actor. He plays Officer Minogue in the television series, ''Wellington Paranormal''. Minogue is currently a Co-Host on Radio Hauraki's Big Show, 4pm to 7pm Weekdays, alongside fellow New Zealand Actor, and top radio DJ, Jason Hoyte. Biography Minogue grew up in Levin, New Zealand and was educated at St Joseph's Primary School and Horowhenua College. He worked in the production side of the film industry on a number of films including ''The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King'', ''The Hobbit trilogy'', ''District 9'', ''The Adventures of'' ''Tintin'' and ''Avatar'' before auditioning for a role in ''Separation City''. He auditioned for a part in the 2014 film ''What We Do in the Shadows''. ''Wellington Paranormal'' is a New Zealand mockumentary comedy horror television series which first aired on 11 July 2018 on TVNZ 2. The series is a spin-off of the 2014 film ''What We Do in the Shadows'' and first television series in the franchise, and its lead characters—Officers Minogue and O'Leary—first appeared in the film as a pair of incurious police officers. Radio Hauraki
Radio Hauraki is a New Zealand rock music station that started in 1966. It was the first private commercial radio station of the modern broadcasting era in New Zealand and operated illegally until 1970 to break the monopoly held by the state-owned New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation. From its founding until 2012 Hauraki played a mix of classic and mainstream rock music. In 2013, it changed its music content, playing modern rock and alternative rock from the last 25–30 years. Jason Hoyte is a New Zealand screen and voice actor and radio DJ. He has at least 25 television shows to his credit and is best known for his roles as Steve Mudgeway in ''Seven Periods with Mr Gormsby'' and Malcolm "Smudge" in ''Nothing Trivial''. Levin (; mi, Taitoko) is the largest town and seat of the Horowhenua District, in the Manawatū-Whanganui region of New Zealand's North Island.
