Mike Lenzly
Mike Lenzly (born 1 May 1981) is a British former professional basketball player. At a height of 1.89 m (6'2 ") tall, he played at the point guard and shooting guard positions. College career Lenzly attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He played four seasons for the Terriers, before graduating in 2003. He was selected to the Wofford College Athletics Hall of Fame. Professional career Lenzly played professional basketball for several European clubs. In 2005 Lenzly won the Latvian League championship with Ventspils. Lenzly was a part of the Dexia Mons-Hainaut team that made the final of the FIBA EuroChallenge's 2007–08 season. With ČEZ Nymburk, Lenzly won the Czech League and Czech Cup, in 2010, 2011, and 2012. National team career Lenzly was a member of the senior Great Britain national basketball team. The Spain men's national basketball team ( es, Selección Española de Baloncesto) represents Spain in international basketball competitions. They are managed by the Spanish Basketball Federation, the governing body for basketball in Spain. Spain is the current World and European champion. EuroBasket 2009
The 2009 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2009, was the 36th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe. The tournament, which was hosted by Poland, began on 7 September and concluded with the final on 20 September 2009. The competition served as a qualification tournament for the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey. Spain claimed their first EuroBasket title by routing Serbia 85–63 in the final. Greece captured the bronze medal with a 57–56 victory over Slovenia. The Czech Republic National Basketball League (NBL) ( cs, Národní Basketbalová Liga) is the top-tier level professional basketball league in the Czech Republic. 2007–08 FIBA EuroCup
The FIBA EuroCup is the former name of an international professional basketball club competition for clubs throughout Europe that was renamed the FIBA EuroChallenge in July 2008. The 2007–08 season, the last for the competition under the EuroCup banner, featured 38 competing teams, from 23 different countries. The draw for the groups was held on August 5, 2007, at the Kempinski Hotel in Munich. The 2007–08 FIBA EuroCup, organized by FIBA Europe, was the fifth season of the competition regarded as the third-strongest pan-European club basketball competition, behind the Euroleague and ULEB Cup, the latter of which was renamed the Eurocup for 2008–09. FIBA EuroChallenge
FIBA EuroChallenge (called the FIBA Europe League in 2003–05, and FIBA EuroCup in 2005–08) was the 3rd-tier level transnational men's professional continental club basketball competition in Europe, from 2003 to 2015. It was organized and run by FIBA Europe. It is not to be confused with the FIBA EuroCup Challenge – the now defunct 4th-tier level transnational men's professional continental club basketball competition in Europe, which was also organized and run by FIBA Europe, and played during the 2002–03 to 2006–07 seasons. Spartanburg is a city in and the seat of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States. Wofford College
Wofford College is a private liberal arts college in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It was founded in 1854. The campus is a national arboretum and one of the few four-year institutions in the southeastern United States founded before the American Civil War that still operates on its original campus. Wofford was founded with a bequest of $100,000 from the Rev.
