Michael Richard Edel (born December 18, 1985) is a Canadian folk musician, guitarist, and songwriter. He has released four studio albums, ''The Last of Our Mountains'' (2011), ''India, Seattle'' (2015), ''Thresholds'' (2019), and ''En Masse'' (2020). Edel has also released two extended plays, ''Hide from the Seasons'' (2008) and ''The Country Were I Came From'' (2012). Edel has over six million streams across various platforms. His music has been featured on ABC's American Idol, CBC Radio, and Sirius XM. Linden is a village located in central Alberta, Canada that is surrounded by Kneehill County. It is located southwest of Three Hills and north of Beiseker. Christopher Ryan Walla (born November 2, 1975) is an American musician, record producer, and film music composer, best known for being a former guitarist and songwriter for the band Death Cab for Cutie. Musical career Early bands While at Bothell High School in the early 1990s, Walla started a program called Open Microphone with creative writing teacher Laura Drumheller, as a noon-time forum for the arts, which allowed any student to take the stage and perform. Walla regularly performed at these shows, as well as serving as MC. One performance by Walla included a song by PJ Harvey. These early Open Microphone shows proved popular and continued for over twenty years, moving from Bothell High School to Inglemoor High School when teacher Drumheller transferred there. Silver Starling is a Canadian indie pop band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Biography Silver Starling began as a project of Montreal-born singer-songwriter Marcus Paquin. Outside of creating his own music Marcus has been a recording engineer having worked with Torngat, Arcade Fire and The National.
