Mike Dallas Jr.
Michael Dallas Jr. (born December 19, 1986) is an American professional boxer. Amateur career Michael had an impressive amateur record of 115-12. He won a gold medal at the PAL International Junior Olympics in 2000. In 2002 he won a bronze medal at the US National Silver Gloves championships, losing to three-time Olympian Rau'shee Warren. That same year he was a runner-up at the PAL Junior championships (15-16 age range) at 112 lbs. During the 2004 US Western Olympic trials, he lost to Diego Magdaleno. At the 2006 National Golden Gloves he won a silver medal, losing to Brad Solomon. Mike also got a gold medal at the 2006 PAL championships at 64 kg, beating Karl Dargan and Raul Tovar. He went to the US 2008 Olympic trials at 64 kg, where he beat Brad Solomon but lost to Daniel O'Connor and Danny Garcia. Light welterweight, also known as junior welterweight or super lightweight, is a weight class in combat sports. Arturo "Dusty" Harrison Hernández (born May 21, 1994) is a Puerto Rican-American professional boxer. He is the former USBA and WBC Continental Americas welterweight champion. As of June 21, 2024, Dusty is ranked in the top 30 in the world at light heavyweight and top 5 in the United States by BoxRec, the official recordkeeper for the sport. In October 2013, Dusty was praised by Mike Tyson in an open letter. Tyson sent to USA Boxing in response to their accusation that his promotion was hindering the growth of USA Boxing's future Olympic team by signing young amateurs. Tyson used Dusty's career along with the career of Hall of Famer Wilfred Benítez as well as his own as examples of successful fighters who turned professional as teenagers. The North American Boxing Federation (NABF) is a not-for-profit regional sanctioning body that awards regional boxing titles. It is a boxing federation within the World Boxing Council (WBC).
