Mike Cerasuolo
Mike Cerasuolo (born May 20, 1971) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Springfield College, a position he has held since 2016. Cerasuolo was a standout offensive lineman at Springfield from 1989 to 1992, before going into coaching, starting as a graduate assistant at Ithaca Bombers football, Ithaca. Cerasuolo would then become the offensive line and tight ends coach at Maine Black Bears football, Maine for a year, and then following that up with multiple offensive coordinator jobs at Cortland Red Dragons football, Cortland, Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen football, Lebanon Valley, Alfred Saxons football, Alfred, and Mansfield Mountaineers football, Mansfield spanning from 1996 until 2000. An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The offensive coordinator is in charge of the team's offensive game plan, and typically calls offensive plays during the game, although some offensive-minded head coaches also handle play-calling.
