Miente
"Miente" (English: "Lie") is a song by Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias from his second studio album, '' Vivir'' (1997). The song was written and produced by Rafael Pérez-Botija. It was released as the third single from the album in 1997. An uptempo pop power ballad backed by a piano and percussion, the song deals with the singer being in denial about a relationship ending. "Miente" was covered by Robert Avellanet on his debut studio album, ''Sentir'' (1999), as a salsa track. The music video for the cover features the singer playing billiards while a woman is driving away. Avellanet's version peaked at numbers 23 and 9 on the Hot Latin Songs and Tropical Airplay charts, respectively, and was a recipient of the ASCAP Latin Award on the salsa field in 2000. "Miente" received positive reactions from three music journalists, who generally considered it was one of the best tracks from ''Vivir''. ''Vivir'' (English: ''Live'') is the second Spanish studio album recorded by Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias. It was released by Fonovisa on 21 January 1997 (see 1997 in music). The album includes three number-one singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Tracks charts in United States: "Enamorado Por Primera Vez", " Sólo En Ti" and "Miente". In the United States, it was platinum on 6 May 1997. "Only You" is a song by English synth-pop duo Yazoo. It was written by member Vince Clarke, while he was still with Depeche Mode, but recorded in 1982 after he formed Yazoo with Alison Moyet. It was released as Yazoo's first single on 15 March 1982 in the United Kingdom, taken from their first album, ''Upstairs at Eric's'' (1982), and became an instant success on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number two on 16 May 1982. Roberto Alejandro Avellanet Negrón (born June 30, 1975), known professionally as Robert Avellanet or Roberto Avellanet, is a Puerto Rican singer who was a member of '' Menudo''. Avellanet's uncle is the famous Puerto Rican singer Chucho Avellanet. Biography Avellanet was born in San Juan.
