Mick Waitt
Michael Hugh Waitt (born 25 June 1960) is an English association football player and coach, who managed the New Zealand national football team. Waitt played in the Football League for Notts County and Lincoln City FC. He took charge of the New Zealand national side June 2002. New Zealand won eleven, drew two and lost ten of his 23 games in charge. He now works for Quokkas. Playing career New Zealand In 1990, while playing in Hong Kong for Lai Sun, Waitt visited his sister in Wellington. Whilst in New Zealand he was contacted by his erstwhile manager Keith Buckley who was coaching Napier City Rovers. Buckley invited Waitt to play for the club and he did so, spending the 1990 season with the club, scoring 8 goals in 14 National Soccer League appearances. He returned to the UK, joining Spalding United in December 1990, Nuneaton Borough in January 1991 and Grantham two months later. Mount Smart Stadium
Mount Smart Stadium (formerly known as Ericsson Stadium) is a multipurpose stadium in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the main home ground of the New Zealand Warriors of the National Rugby League, and occasionally hosts rugby union and international rugby league matches. Raf de Gregorio (born 20 May 1977 in Wellington) is a New Zealand former professional association football player. Club career De Gregorio began his senior club career with Wellington United in 1997 before spending time in Europe with Bohemians, FC Dordrecht and Clyde. Mark Burton (footballer)
Mark Burton (born 18 May 1974) is a retired association football player who represented the New Zealand national team at international level. He played as an attacking midfielder. Club career As a teenager, Burton was recommended to SV Werder Bremen by compatriot and New Zealand football legend Wynton Rufer who played for Bremen at the time. After spending several years in their youth and amateur sides, he moved to lower division teams VfL Osnabrück, Kickers Emden and VfB Lübeck before returning to New Zealand. Chris Killen
Christopher John Killen (born 8 October 1981) is a former New Zealand international footballer. Killen grew up in Wellington and played his club football for Miramar Rangers. After a trial with Manchester City, he joined City's youth academy. His first senior club appearances came during a loan spell at Wrexham in September 2000, and the following season he was loaned to Port Vale. Killen joined Oldham Athletic in July 2002 for £250,000, but failed to match his price tag because of persistent injury, and was eventually released on a free transfer. In January 2006, Killen joined Hibernian, and scored 11 goals in the early part of the 2006–07 season, but a ruptured Achilles tendon prematurely ended his season in January. Jeff Campbell (footballer)
Jeffrey Campbell (born 25 August 1979) is a New Zealand football player, who played for New Zealand and professionally for the Football Kingz. He ended his career in 2017 playing for Takapuna AFC. He has represented his country at U20, U23 and senior levels. Club career In September 2006, Jeff signed for the New Zealand Football Championship club Waitakere United for the 2006–2007 season. He also played for Waitakere United in the Oceania Champions Cup with Waitakere United winning the competition in 2007 which qualified the team for the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup in Japan where Campbell was an unused sub in their 1–2 loss to Adelaide United. Ivan Robert Vicelich ( hr, Vicelić, ; ; born 3 September 1976) is a former New Zealand professional footballer who is currently assistant coach at Auckland City FC in the ASB Premiership. He is his country and Oceania's most-capped international of all time with 88 caps between 1995 and 2013, and featured at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Ryan William Nelsen (born 18 October 1977) is a former New Zealand professional football player and former head coach of Major League Soccer side Toronto FC. Nelsen commonly played as a defender, and his professional career began in 1995. He notably captained the New Zealand national team and started his professional football career in his native country for Christchurch United. In 2001, he joined MLS side D.C.
