Michelle Ann Williams is a Jamaican-American epidemiologist, public health scientist, and educator who has served as the dean of the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health since 2016. Early life Williams was born on January 1, 1962, and is the eldest of four children. When she was seven years old, her family immigrated to Queens, New York, where she attended New York City public schools. While neither of her parents attended school past the elementary level, Williams encountered a “handful of remarkable and pivotal teachers” who encouraged her to apply to top colleges and universities. Williams became the first person in her family to attend college when she received her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Princeton University in 1984. Michelle Toro
Michelle Toro (née Williams; born January 2, 1991) is a Canadian competition swimmer who specializes in the freestyle in the sprint distances. She won a gold medal in the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto in the 4 x 100 m freestyle and in the 4 x 100 m medley relay. She also won a bronze at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the 4 x 100 m freestyle. She competed as part of Canada's Olympic team for the 2016 Summer Olympics, commonly known as Rio 2016. Williams would help fellow Canadians Taylor Ruck, Chantal van Landeghem and Sandrine Mainville in the women's 4 x 100 m freestyle relay heats, with the team swimming the third fastest time. Michele Wiles is an American ballet dancer. She was a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre from 2005 - 2011. In 2011, she left ABT to form the independent classical ballet company Ballet Next with former New York City Ballet principal dancer Charles Askegard. Biography Wiles was born May 7, 1980.
