Michele Brourman
Michele Brourman (born April 12, 1947) is an American composer and songwriter who is known for writing the songs to most of the films in '' Land Before Time'' series (with Amanda McBroom), as well as the accompanying television series (with Ford Riley). Brourman has also written the songs for sequels '' Balto II: Wolf Quest'' and '' Balto III: Wings of Change'' and one song for the family film '' Shiloh''. Early years Brourman grew up in Pittsburgh, attending Taylor Allderdice High School. She told a newspaper reporter, "I was a Broadway brat. I had stacks of original-cast records and memorized the scores of every Broadway show." She majored in composition at Northwestern University and "was thoroughly trained in the classical piano". Amanda McBroom (born August 9, 1947) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Notable among the songs she has written is "The Rose (song), The Rose", which Bette Midler sang in the The Rose (film), film of the same name, and which has been sung by many other recording artists. McBroom is also known for her collaborations as lyricist with songwriter Michele Brourman, including some of the songs in The Land Before Time (franchise), ''The Land Before Time'' film series, ''Balto II: Wolf Quest'', and the musical ''Dangerous Beauty'' based on the film of the same name, which had its world premiere at the Pasadena Playhouse on February 13, 2011. ''The Land Before Time'' is an American animated television series, based on ''The Land Before Time'' film series created by Judy Freudberg and Tony Geiss. Ford Riley
Ford Riley is an American producer, screenwriter, lyricist, and voice actor. He is best known for creating the Disney Junior animated television series ''Special Agent Oso'' (2009-2012) and he most recently created and developed the animated television series ''The Lion Guard'' (2016-2019), based on Disney's ''The Lion King''. Riley also serves as the series' executive producer. Education and early career Riley is a graduate of New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied theater and film.
