Michael Valgren
Michael Valgren Hundahl (né Andersen; born 7 February 1992) is a Danish professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . In 2018, Valgren won Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and the Amstel Gold Race. Career He became a professional in 2011 at the age of just 19 riding for the Danish continental team , where he won two editions of the U23 Liège–Bastogne–Liège and several other noticeable wins. He worked in the same fish factory as Jonas Vingegaard while pursuing a career as a pro cyclist. In 2014 he entered the WorldTour, when he joined . He made an immediate impact, as he won the Danish National Road Race Championships and the Danmark Rundt. He has ridden the Tour de France 6 times (2015 to 2020) as well as the 2014 Vuelta a Espana. 2018 served as a breakout year seeing him win the classics Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and the Amstel Gold Race. 2015 Tour De France
The 2015 Tour de France was the 102nd edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's Grand Tours. The -long race consisted of 21 stages, starting on 4 July in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and concluding on 26 July with the Champs-Élysées stage in Paris. 2018 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad
The 2018 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 24 February 2018 in Belgium. It was the 73rd edition of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and the fourth event of the 2018 UCI World Tour. It was won by Danish rider Michael Valgren for the team, soloing to victory by 12 seconds ahead of 's Łukasz Wiśniowski of Poland, with the podium completed by the highest-placed home rider Sep Vanmarcke (). Teams As the race was only added to the UCI World Tour calendar in 2017, all UCI WorldTeams were invited to the race, but not obligated to compete in the race. 2021 Tour De France
The 2021 Tour de France was the 108th edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's three grand tours. Originally planned for the Danish capital of Copenhagen, the start of the 2021 Tour (known as the ) was transferred to Brest because of the COVID-19 pandemic, with Copenhagen hosting four matches in the UEFA Euro 2020, which had also been rescheduled to 2021 because of the pandemic. Originally scheduled for 2 to 25 July 2021, the Tour was moved to 26 June to 18 July 2021 to avoid the rescheduled 2020 Summer Olympics. Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen (; born 10 December 1996) is a Danish cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam . He won the 2022 edition of the Tour de France. Road bicycle racing is the cycle sport discipline of road cycling, held primarily on paved roads. The UCI Road World Championships are the annual world championships for bicycle road racing organized by the (UCI). The UCI Road World Championships consist of events for road race and individual time trial, and a mixed team relay.
