Michael Phillip Wojewoda
Michael Phillip Wojewoda is a Canadian record producer and musician. He has been nominated for eight Juno Awards and has received one for Recording Engineer of the Year and one for Producer of the Year. History Wojewoda began recording bands in 1977, working in the basement of his mother's beauty salon and using rudimentary equipment. In 1985, he produced the 2016 Polaris Music Prize and 2017 Polaris Music Prize Heritage Prize nominated album ''To Sir With Hate'' by Fifth Column. Ashley Dwayne MacIsaac (born February 24, 1975) is a Canadian fiddler, singer and songwriter from Cape Breton Island. He has received three Juno Awards, winning for Best New Solo Artist and Best Roots & Traditional Album – Solo at the Juno Awards of 1996, and for Best Instrumental Artist at the Juno Awards of 1997. Doughboys were a Canadian alternative rock band founded in 1987 that were active in the late 1980s and early/mid-1990s. The band was renowned for its musical blend of punk and pop-style melodies. Early years The band was formed in Montreal by John Kastner in 1987 following his departure from the Asexuals. That year the Doughboys released their debut album ''Whatever'' on the Pipeline Records label. In 1996 and 2000 '' Chart'' magazine ranked ''Whatever'' as the 28th greatest Canadian album of all time. Throughout their existence the band was characterized by frequent lineup changes. ''Snacktime!'' is a children's-themed studio album by Canadian band Barenaked Ladies released on May 6, 2008 by Desperation Records. A companion book was written with artwork by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Hearn, who also contributed artwork for the album.
