Michael Peterson (singer)
Michael James Peterson (born August 7, 1959) is an American country music artist. He made his debut on the country music scene in 1997 with his second self-titled album (following his 1986 release featuring contemporary Christian songs), which produced five Top 40 hits on ''Billboard''s Hot Country Singles & Tracks, including the Number One hit "From Here to Eternity". Peterson's second album, 1999's '' Being Human'', produced two more chart singles, and a third album, 2004's ''Modern Man'', was issued only in Europe. Peterson also made a cameo appearance on an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger. Biography Michael Peterson was born in Tucson, Arizona, on August 7, 1959. Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) is a private Lutheran university in Parkland, Washington. It was founded by Norwegian Lutheran immigrants in 1890. ''No More Looking over My Shoulder'' is American country music artist Travis Tritt's sixth studio album, released on October 13, 1998. It was the last album to be released by Warner Bros. Records before leaving for Columbia Records in 2000. Three singles were released from this album, in order of release they were: "If I Lost You", the title track, and "Start The Car", although the latter became the first single of his career to miss Top 40 on the country charts. Content The album's title track was co-written by Michael Peterson, who also recorded it on his 2004 album ''Modern Man''. Peterson contributes a backing vocal to Tritt's version. Critical reception Michael Gallucci of AllMusic criticized Tritt's Southern rock influences by saying that it made the album sound "conspicuously way out of time." James Travis Tritt (born February 9, 1963) is an American country music singer and songwriter. He signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1989, releasing seven studio albums and a greatest hits package for the label between then and 1999. In the 2000s, he released three studio albums on Columbia Records and one for the now-defunct Category 5 Records. ''Jenny Simpson'' is the only album by American country music singer Jenny Simpson. It was released on November 3, 1998 via Mercury Nashville. Content It includes the single "Ticket Out of Kansas", Simpson's only chart entry, which was previously recorded by Regina Regina on their debut album. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The weekly tracking period for sales was initially Monday to Sunday when Nielsen started tracking sales in 1991, but was changed to Friday to Thursday in July 2015. Robert Ellis Orrall (born May 4, 1955) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. Signed to RCA Records in 1980, Orrall debuted that year with the album "Fixation". His first Top 40 single was "I Couldn't Say No", a duet with Carlene Carter. By 1990, Orrall had found success as a songwriter, having penned Number One singles for Shenandoah and Clay Walker. Josh Leo
Josh Leo (born 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa) is an American guitarist, songwriter, and record producer active in Nashville, Tennessee. Leo was born in Des Moines, Iowa, but was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1976, he moved to Chicago, Illinois and subsequently became a guitarist of the short-lived Eddie Boy Band. The band then traveled to Los Angeles, California two years later, where they recorded an album for MCA Records (which was the first record Leo had made). The Eddie Boy Band, however, was unsatisfied with the sound quality of the album, and they disbanded shortly afterward. In 1979, four years after the Eddie Boy Band broke up, Leo began touring with J. D. Souther as a guitarist. And over the next few years, he would record and tour with the likes of Kim Carnes, Jimmy Buffett and Glenn Frey. During this time, Leo also began a songwriting career.
