Mike Johnson (born August 27, 1965) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer and bass guitarist. He was born in Grants Pass, Oregon and fronted Eugene, Oregon punk band Snakepit from 1984 until their break up in 1989. He joined Dinosaur Jr. as bass player in 1991 and played with the band live and on its recordings from 1991 to 1998. He was briefly married to Juned's Leslie Hardy in 1994, and contributed to both the band's studio albums. He collaborated with Mark Lanegan on his first five solo albums, playing guitar, co-producing, and writing music. In 1994, he released his first solo album, ''Where Am I'', on Up Records, and he continued a solo career, alongside involvement with the bands Queens of the Stone Age and Caustic Resin up until 2006's ''Gone Out of Your Mind'', when he moved to France with his wife. Michael Donald Johnson (April 7, 1944 – July 30, 2022) was an American Republican politician and businessman from the U.S. state of Oklahoma who served in the Oklahoma State Senate from district 22 from 1998 until he was term limited in 2010. Prior to his state politics career, Johnson also was active in local politics in Edmond, Oklahoma in the late 1970's, serving as the city treasurer from 1977 to 1981. In the 1980's he returned to Kingfisher, Oklahoma where he served on the local school board between 1985 and 1995 and operated his family's Chrysler dealership. He retired from politics in 2010. Michael Johnson (born 24 February 1988) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Johnson was a product of the Leeds United, Feyenoord, Crewe Alexandra, Liverpool, Everton and Manchester City youth academies. He made his Premier League debut for City during the 2006–07 season and went on to become somewhat of a first team regular. While with City he was an England youth international, for both the under-19 and under-21 teams. Several injury setbacks that started during the 2008–09 season hampered his progress and he went on to only make four appearances for City in his final five years of his contract, playing his final match in a League Cup tie against Scunthorpe United in 2009. Michael Johnson (4 October 1933 – 19 July 2004) was an English professional association football player and manager. Over the course of his playing career, Johnson turned out for Newcastle United, Blyth Spartans, Brighton and Hove Albion, Gloucester City A.F.C., Gloucester City, Fulham FC, Doncaster Rovers and Barrow A.F.C., Barrow all in England before moving to Australia and playing with South Coast United, Sydney United, Metropolitan Adriatic and Sutherland Sharks. Johnson then turned his hand to management moving to the front office of the Sutherland Sharks before going on to manage St George FC, St George Saints, Blacktown City Demons, Fairy Meadow before finishing his managerial career by claiming the treble of NSW Premier League Premiership, Championship and the NSW Waratah Cup in 1992 with the Bonnyrigg White Eagles.
