Michael Fox (born Myron Melvin Fox, February 27, 1921 – June 1, 1996) was an American character actor who appeared in numerous films and television shows. Some of his most famous recurring roles were as various autopsy physicians in ''Perry Mason'', as Coroner George McLeod in '' Burke's Law'', as Amos Fedders in ''Falcon Crest'', and as Saul Feinberg in ''The Bold and the Beautiful''. Early life Fox was born in Yonkers, New York to Jacob Fox, an Austrian-born salesman, and his wife, the former Josephine Berkowitz. He was the youngest of four children, and the third son. Career Michael Fox began acting in stage plays in southern California circa 1945. Through his stage endeavors, Fox met Harry Sauber who introduced him to Sam Katzman. Two of his regular TV roles were as the coroner in the courtroom drama ''Perry Mason'', and as Saul Feinberg on the CBS soap opera ''The Bold and the Beautiful'' from 1989 to 1996. Sir Michael John Fox (8 October 1921 – 9 April 2007) was a British barrister and judge. He was a High Court judge from 1975 to 1981 and a Lord Justice of Appeal from 1981 until 1992. Early life and education Fox was born to Irish parents and raised in the Roman Catholic faith. the youngest of four children. His father had worked in the Irish Civil Service. Fox was educated at Drayton Manor School in Hanwell. His father died in 1930 in a shooting accident, and his mother remarried. He went to the London School of Economics to read law, but his studies were interrupted by the war. His poor eyesight prevented him joining the armed forces during the Second World War, and worked in intelligence in the Admiralty from 1942–1945. Michael Allen Fox (born 7 May 1940) is an American/Canadian/Australian philosopher who was based at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario from 1966 until his retirement in 2005. Michael John Fox (born 28 April 1942) is a retired Church of England priest and was an Archdeacon in the Diocese of Chelmsford, serving from 1993 until 2007. Fox was educated at Barking Abbey Grammar School; Hull University; and the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield. He was ordained deacon in 1966, and priest in 1967. Michael James Fox (born August 5, 1967) is a former American football defensive lineman. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the second round (51st overall) of the 1990 NFL draft. He played college football at West Virginia. He also played for the Carolina Panthers. College career In 1989, Fox finished the year with 10 sacks while playing defensive tackle - making him the only player at the time to generate 10 sacks from any position other than defensive end or linebacker. Fox had three multi-sack games, including the Syracuse game in which he recorded nine tackles, two sacks, and two tackles for a loss. Fox also finished with 71 tackles and the Gator Bowl MVP trophy.
