Micah Christenson
Micah Makanamaikalani Christenson (born May 8, 1993) is an American professional volleyball player. He is part of the US national team, and is a bronze medalist at the Olympic Games Rio 2016 and the 2018 World Championship, the 2014 World League and the 2015 World Cup winner. At the professional club level, he plays for Zenit Kazan. Personal life Christenson was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Robert and Charlene Christenson. His parents both attended the University of Hawaii at Hilo, where his father, Robert, played basketball and his mother, Charlene, won three volleyball national championships and was named a two-time All-American. His sister, Joanna, played volleyball at Southern Utah University. Christenson began playing club volleyball in 2005 with Asics Quicksilver; he also played basketball and was two time Gatorade Player of the year in Hawai'i. 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League was the 25th edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament, played by 28 countries from 23 May to 20 July 2014. The Group 1 Final Round was held in Florence, Italy. Qualification *No qualification tournament. *All teams of the 2013 edition directly qualified. *10 teams were invited by the FIVB. United States Men's National Volleyball Team
The United States men's national volleyball team represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. The team is governed by USA Volleyball. The team has won five Olympic medals, including three gold. History As the birthplace of volleyball, the United States founded the first association to regulate the sport. The United States Volleyball Association was formed in 1927, and was the founding member of FIVB in 1947. 2017 Men's NORCECA Volleyball Championship
The 2017 Men's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 25th edition of the tournament, and was held in Colorado Springs, United States from 26 September to 1 October 2017. The top three teams qualified for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, whereas the fourth and fifth ranked teams qualified for the 2018 World Championship NORCECA qualification final four. The NORCECA Men's Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of North America, Central America and the Caribbean, organized by the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA). 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League
The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League was the inaugural edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, a new annual international men's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams that replaced the former World League in the international calendar. The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League was the fourth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, an annual men's international volleyball tournament.
