Mezarkabul
Mezarkabul (also known as Pentagram in Turkey) is a Turkish metal band formed by Hakan Utangaç and Cenk Ünnü. Mezarkabul is known for integrating Anatolian elements into their music. History Mezarkabul was formed in Bursa in 1986 by guitarist Hakan Utangaç and drummer Cenk Ünnü. In 1987, bassist Tarkan Gözübüyük joined, and they started doing live shows. Their first show was performed at a wedding hall at Istanbul, Bağcılar. Tarkan Gozubuyuk could not make it to the concert and instead Ozgunay Unal joined the line up for the concert. By the time they made to their fifth song most of chairs and tables had been destroyed by the audiences. Turkey was meeting metal music and by their crazy emotions this chaoting action happened.Their first songs were released in 1990 on the self-titled ''Pentagram'' album. Tarkan Gözübüyük
Tarkan Gözübüyük (born 15 July 1970) is the bass player of the Turkish heavy metal band Mezarkabul (known as Pentagram in Turkey). Biography Born in 1970 in Erzurum, he grew up in Bursa. His first encounter with the bass guitar was aged fourteen. Studied ''jazz'' at the Faculty of Music of Bilkent University, in Ankara. Before joining Mezarkabul, he performed as a Jazz bass guitarist and played in his high-school's main orchestra. He performed on stage with Mezarkabul during most of their concerts except their debut concert in 1987. After joining Mezarkabul, he worked on several other projects as a producer. As a producer, he contributed to the albums of famous Turkish rock artists like Şebnem Ferah, Özlem Tekin, Teoman, Demir Demirkan, Ogün Sanlısoy (the former vocalist of Mezarkabul) and bands like Knight Errant, Kül, Mor ve Ötesi and Athena (band). Cenk Ünnü
Cenk Ünnü (born 1967 in Istanbul) is the drummer of the heavy metal band Mezarkabul (also known as ''Pentagram''). He and Hakan Utangaç formed Pentagram together in 1986. He graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Literature, Anthropology. He lives in Istanbul and runs an underground music store called ''Pena''. He is married and has a son, Arda, and a daughter, Öykü. Demir Demirkan () (born 12 August 1972) is a Turkish musician, Eurovision Song Contest winning composer, formerly guitarist for thrash metal band Mezarkabul. Demir Demirkan started playing music when he was 13 and played guitar with various groups in college. Demir Demirkan also wrote television jingles and composed soundtracks for television and films. Şebnem Ferah (born 12 April 1972) is a Turkish singer, songwriter, composer, and guitarist. She was the lead vocalist of the all-female hard rock band Volvox until 1994, after which she went on to pursue an illustrious solo career. Her music style varies from pop rock to hard rock though her later albums have progressively incorporated more of the hard rock sound. Pentagram is an American heavy metal band from Alexandria, Virginia, most famous as one of the pioneers of heavy metal, and the subgenre of doom metal in particular. As such, they are considered one of the "big four of doom metal", alongside Candlemass, Saint Vitus and Trouble. Noise Records is a German heavy metal record label founded in 1983 by German music industry personality Karl-Ulrich Walterbach as an expansion of his company Modern Music Records.
