Mexico Women's National Cricket Team
The Mexico women's national cricket team, nicknamed the Jaguars (Las Jaguares), represents the country of Mexico in women's cricket matches. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Mexico women and another international side after 1 July 2018 were a full WT20I. Mexico's first WT20I matches were contested as part of the South American Women's Championships in August 2018 against Brazil, Chile and Peru however Peru's matches were not classified as WT20Is as not all of their players met the ICC residency requirements. Mexico Cricket Association
Mexico is an Associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Mexico joined the ICC as an Affiliate in 2004 and became an associate member in 2017. Mexico is included in the ICC Americas region. The Mexico Cricket Association is the official governing organ for cricket in Mexico and it is based at the Reforma Athletic Club, Reforma San Pablo, San Juan Totoltepec, Naucalpan de Juarez, State of Mexico (part of the Mexico City Metropolitan Area). The Mexican cricket season runs from late September to late May. There is a 20-over league in which four teams - Mexico Union Cricket Club, Aztecs, Aguilas, and Reforma - compete for the Lincoln Clarke Trophy. 20-over social games are held, including an Ambassador's Cup, Cricketers vs Footballers, India vs Pakistan, ANZAC Day, and Asia vs Rest of the World. The Brazil women's national cricket team represents the country of Brazil in women's cricket matches. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Naucalpan
Naucalpan, officially Naucalpan de Juárez, is one of 125 municipalities located just northwest of Mexico City in the adjoining State of Mexico. The municipal seat is the city of Naucalpan de Juárez, which extends into the neighboring municipality of Huixquilucan. The name Naucalpan comes from Nahuatl and means "place of the four neighborhoods" or "four houses." Juárez was added to the official name in 1874 in honor of Benito Juárez. The history of the area begins with the Tlatilica who settled on the edges of the Hondo River between 1700 and 600 B.C.E., but it was the Mexica who gave it its current name when they dominated it from the 15th century until the Spanish conquest of the Mexica Empire. 2019 Central American Cricket Championship
The 2019 Central American Cricket Championship was a cricket tournament held in Mexico from 25 to 28 April 2019. It was the seventh edition of the Central American Championship and the first since the ICC granted Twenty20 International (T20I) status to matches between all of its Members. Men's championship The five participating teams were the national sides of Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico and Panama, as well as a side representing the MCC. The matches were played at the Reforma Athletic Club in the city of Naucalpan, just to the northwest of Mexico City. The 2019 South American Cricket Championship was a cricket tournament that took place in Lima, Peru from 3 to 6 October 2019. This was the second edition of the women's South American Cricket Championship in which matches were eligible for Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status, since the ICC granted T20I status to matches between all of its Members. Brazil were the defending champions from the 2018 edition. The five participating teams were the national sides of Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico.
