Mexicana Universal
Mexicana Universal is a national beauty pageant in Mexico held annually since 2018, replacing the former pageant, Nuestra Belleza México, held since 1994. Currently, the pageant is responsible for selecting the country’s delegates to Miss Universe, Miss International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Charm International, and Nuestra Latinoamericana Universal. Beauty Pageant
A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Reina Hispanoamericana 2021
Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 was the 30th edition of the Reina Hispanoamericana pageant. It was held on October 30, 2021 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Regina Peredo of Mexico crowned Andrea Bazarte of Mexico as her successor at the end of the event. This marked Mexico’s first back-to-back victory in the pageant. Juriquilla
Juriquilla is an affluent suburb within the limits of Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico. It was founded as a hacienda in the 18th century and became a golf course and residential area in the 1970s. It is some to the northwest of Mexico City and about north of central Santiago de Querétaro. The city is on the Querétaro-San Luis Potosí City road. Alma Andrea Meza Carmona (born 13 August 1994) is a Mexican model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2020. Since winning the title, she became the third Mexican woman to be crowned Miss Universe. Meza holds the record of the shortest completed reign in Miss Universe history to date. Mexicana Universal 2020 was the 3rd edition of the Mexicana Universal beauty pageant held on November 29, 2020. 30 candidates from all over Mexico competed for the national title. Mexicana Universal 2022 was the 4th edition of the Mexicana Universal beauty pageant. Débora Hallal of Sinaloa crowned Irma Miranda of Sonora as her successor at the end of the event, and will represent Mexico at the upcoming Miss Universe 2022. Miss Universe 2023
Miss Universe 2023 will be the 72nd Miss Universe pageant to be held on late 2023 in El Salvador. R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event. Background Location and date On 14 January 2023, Salvadoran president Nayib Bukele announced that this edition will be held in El Salvador before the end of 2023, the last time it was hosted in 1975, making the return of hosting the event in Latin America since 2011.
