Mette Schjoldager
Mette Schjoldager (born 21 April 1977) is a Danish badminton player from Viby, Roskilde Municipality, on the island of Zealand. Career Schjoldager made her debut at the Olympic Games in 2000 Sydney. Teamed-up with Ann-Lou Jørgensen, they beat Elena Nozdran/ Viktoriya Evtushenko of Ukraine in the first round, but was defeated in the second round by Indonesian pair Etty Tantri/Cynthia Tuwankotta. In the mixed doubles, she partnered with Jens Eriksen. The duo had a bye in the first round, beat Michael Keck/Nicol Pitro of German, and were defeated bye Tri Kusharjanto/Minarti Timur of Indonesia in the quarterfinals. Schjoldager again competed in badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in women's doubles with partner Pernille Harder. Viby, Roskilde Municipality
Viby, often referred to as Viby Sjælland (usually styled Viby Sj) to distinguish it from Viby J in Jutland, is a satellite and commuter town to Roskilde and Copenhagen, located 8 km south of Roskilde, in Roskilde Municipality, some 30 km west of Copenhagen, Denmark. European Badminton Championships
The European Badminton Championships is a tournament organized by the Badminton Europe (BE). The first of these competitions was held in 1968. The competition was held once every two years to determine the best badminton players in Europe. European Mixed Team Badminton Championships usually started prior to the individual championships until it was split in 2009. From 2017 on the European badminton championship is held annually except for the year with European Games. Since 2008, it is being graded as a Grand Prix Gold tournament by the Badminton World Federation. Zealand (Denmark)
Zealand ( da, Sjælland ) at 7,031 km2 is the largest and most populous island in Denmark proper (thus excluding Greenland and Disko Island, which are larger in size). Roskilde Municipality
Roskilde municipality ( da, Roskilde kommune) is a municipality in Region Sjælland, 30 km west of Copenhagen on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in east Denmark.
